General Notarization
Everyday documents, done right the first time. We handle standard notarizations — acknowledgments, jurats, signature witnessing — at your location.
Need general notarization in Cincinnati, Dayton, or Northern Kentucky?
Most notarizations are routine: a form that needs a seal, a statement that must be sworn, a signature that has to be verified. The hard part is usually finding a notary who is available when you are. NotaryCincy brings general notarization to homes, offices, and public meeting spots across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky.
Because we review the document type ahead of time, we arrive with the right certificate wording and the appointment stays quick. If a document calls for something outside the notary role, we tell you before you book — not after you have paid for a visit.

General Notarization FAQs
What is the difference between an acknowledgment and a jurat?
An acknowledgment confirms you signed willingly; a jurat means you swore the contents are true and signed in front of the notary. Your document or receiving agency dictates which is required — we help confirm before the visit.
Can you notarize a document with blank spaces?
Documents should be complete before notarization, except for the signature and notary sections. Fill in or strike through blanks before the appointment when possible.
Can you tell me what my document means?
No — notaries verify identity and witness signatures, but cannot explain or interpret legal documents. If you have questions about the content, ask the document’s source or an attorney first.
How long does a general notarization take?
Usually 10 to 20 minutes once we arrive, assuming IDs are ready and the document is complete. Multiple documents or signers add a few minutes each.
