Common Cincinnati notary questions.

What ID do you need for a notarization in Ohio?

For most Ohio notarizations, each signer should bring a current government-issued photo ID such as a driver license, state ID, passport, or military ID. The name on the ID should reasonably match the document.

How much does a mobile notary cost in Cincinnati?

NotaryCincy package pricing starts at $35 for general notarization, $75 for estate and legal documents, and $100 for loan signing packages. Final scope is confirmed before the appointment.

Can a notary come to a hospital in Cincinnati?

Yes. NotaryCincy provides mobile notary appointments for Cincinnati hospitals when the signer has valid ID, is willing and aware, and the facility allows access.

Can a notary visit a nursing home?

Yes. Nursing home and assisted living visits can be scheduled when the signer can communicate willingness to sign and has acceptable identification.

Can a notary come after hours?

Same-day and after-hours availability may be available by appointment. Call or text (513) 437-1915 for urgent timing.

What should I bring to a notary appointment?

Bring the unsigned document, valid photo ID for each signer, any required witnesses, and facility or parking instructions if the appointment is at a hospital, nursing facility, office, or jail.

Do I need to provide shipping and postage for my documents?

Yes. If your documents need to be mailed after notarization, you are responsible for providing your own shipping label and postage. We are happy to walk you through how to get that ready before the appointment. If you prefer not to handle it yourself, we can ship everything for you for an additional $30 fee.

Do you offer notary protest and presentment services in Cincinnati?

Yes. NotaryCincy assists with notary protest and presentment documentation for eligible negotiable instruments in Cincinnati and surrounding Ohio communities. This includes documenting presentment, dishonor, nonacceptance, or nonpayment where applicable under Ohio notary and UCC standards. Pricing starts at $75 by appointment. This is a documentation service only — NotaryCincy does not provide legal advice. Clients are responsible for confirming with a licensed attorney whether a protest is appropriate for their situation.
